summersville quilted pillows

Say "Hello" to my latest quilting project. I have been drooling over the Summersville line since it came out, but my budget has prevented me from buying much fabric lately, so I picked up a charm pack last week. I love charm packs. You can get little pieces of the whole line for around $10-12. It's totally worth it to me, even if I would rather have Fat Quarter or even better, half yard cuts!

This is a totally improvised, unplanned project. I just started sewing and this is what I came up with. I quilted the center square in concentric circles 1/2" apart and the rest is concentric squares also 1/2" apart. I have another one, almost just like it, waiting to be quilted. They are pillows for my sofa. I love how fun the fabric is. I think it's perfect for my summer decor!
