redbird bee- Nancy's block

Here is a peek at the block I did for Nancy this month in the Redbird Bee. Nancy asked for a freestyle block using Kona white, solids from pale yellow to bright orange and she threw in a few matching prints.

I had a lot of fun doing this block even if I was reminded how bad my geometry skills are! I like this block so much that I'm considering making a quilt with a similar concept. I'll just add it to my mile-long to do list.
